Terms of use

Last updated 28 August 2026. These terms cover the Bookkeepery software product.

The service

Bookkeepery provides software that can sync accounting and banking data, classify transactions, match receipts, send questions when evidence is missing, and prepare drafts (including VAT drafts).

We do not provide statutory audit, payroll processing, CIS, pension administration, or HMRC filing as part of the product. Confirming and submitting filings is your responsibility or your accountant’s.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate connections, review exceptions, and confirm any draft before it is used in a filing. You remain responsible for the Xero file and for tax compliance.

No professional advice

Output from the software is operational bookkeeping assistance, not regulated legal, tax, or investment advice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
