A VAT draft you can check, not a return filed for you
If you are VAT registered, you get a period summary from the activity already in Xero. You or your accountant still send it to HMRC. Bookkeepery does not click submit.
What you receive
A period summary with net, VAT, and a list of codes that still need a look. Unmatched receipts and personal-versus-business splits are called out before anyone files anything.
What you still do
You or your accountant review the draft and file through your usual Making Tax Digital process. Bookkeepery is not an HMRC-recognised filing agent and will not submit the return.
Who this is for
VAT-registered UK limited companies and sole traders already on Xero who want the books current before a person files. If you are not VAT registered, the same monthly loop still keeps the ledger clean.
